Our Mission

Our tutors show up every week with enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and mentor. With education, engagement and empowerment as 1Must’s core values, we at 1Must believe that we can empower underprivileged local youths through personal mentorship and academic enlightenment. We want to empower them with compassion.

Active Tutors: 20+

Our tutors are a close knit group of high school students from over 10 different high schools from around San Diego County. We strive to help secure a bright future for most of the marginalized youths through mathematics and reading comprehension.

Number of students: 50+

We have over 60+ local under-resourced youths that consistently show up every week with eagerness to learn. These youths love bonding with our tutors by getting to know them through friendship and play.
