Andrew Chiang
Andrew is a senior at California Institute of Technology, majoring in applied computational mathematics and computer science. Andrew’s passion for mentoring and outreach sparked in middle school when he got involved in Max Sports Camp which teaches kids how to build character through sports. He later went on to be a mentor on the soccer field to local kids with disabilities through LA Galaxy. Andrew has done outreach on day trips in San Diego, helped with food packaging for refugees in war torn countries, and worked with elementary kids at church. He is excited to be on the board of directors of 1Must. He has helped and watch the organization grow to over 60 plus students and 40 plus tutors.
Sabrina Chiang
Sabrina is a graduate from UC Berkeley with a BS in data science and cognitive science. She is currently working at American Specialty Health as an UX product designer. She enjoys playing board games with her family, rolling around in the ocean waves, but what brings her the most joy is serving God by serving others. Sabrina has gone on three mission trips (twice to Kigali, Rwanda and once to Tucson, Arizona), and on both trips she says “without a doubt, my favorite part of the trip was bonding with the kids.” Sabrina loves being a part of 1Must because she gets to combine her passions of service and kids to make a difference in her home town.
Josiah Chmel
Josiah is a freshman in college, majoring in pharmaceutical chemistry for pre med. In his spare time he surfs, mountain bikes, and hangs out with his friends. His involvement in community service began when he accompanied his dad on a mission trip to Haiti, volunteering at the hospital. Since then he has helped clean up the beaches, volunteered at Rady Children’s Hospital, and at 1Must, making differences in as many people’s lives as possible.
Tiffany Lin
Tiffany is a sophomore at UC Berkeley. Her involvement in community outreach began with her elementary and middle school’s annual food packaging. She has also gone on several missions trips, including one to City Heights where she helped with food distributions and neighborhood cleanups. Tiffany has been a part of 1Must for four years and believes that giving back to her community and participating in mission outreach is a very gratifying experience, and she hopes to continue to make a difference through 1Must.
